Device Status and
Troubleshooting
Display and Touch Screen
Touch screen is not
responding.
Display is powered off.
Display power cable is not plugged in.
Fuse is blown.
Controller is not powered on.
Power on the Display by pressing the
power button on the right side of the
Display.
Plug the Display power cable into the
12-V connector at the rear of the
Controller.
Contact Codonics Technical Support to
replace the fuse.
Verify that the hard power switch on the
rear of the Controller is set to the I (on)
position. Press the green soft power
button on the Controller front panel.
Display is powered on but
the screen is blank.
The Display’s VGA cable is not
connected to the Controller.
Verify that the VGA cable is connected
at the rear of the Controller, and that the
connector’s thumbscrews are
tightened. Reboot the system.
Touch screen does not
respond properly when
touched.
Touch screen is not properly aligned. Run the Touch Screen Calibration
utility. Refer to “Calibrating the Touch
Screen” on page 3-2.
Attach a USB mouse to the USB port on
the front of the Controller, then click the
necessary buttons to perform the
alignment.
Boxes or incorrect
characters are being
displayed.
The locale is not set correctly. Set the locale for the region in which the
device is being operated. Refer to
“Setting Up the Locale Profile” on
page 9-7.
